Bank Holiday Closures 2024-2025

The Practice will be closed on the following days:

  • Friday 29th March 2024
  • Monday 1st April 2024
  • Monday 6th May 2024
  • Monday 27th May 2024
  • Monday 26th August 2024
  • Wednesday 25th December 2024
  • Thursday 26th December 2024
  • Wednesday 1st January 2025

Please make sure that you order any repeat medication in sufficient time to allow the prescription to be processed and ready at the pharmacy.

Please ensure that you order your prescriptions in advance so that you will not run out of medication during the period the surgery is closed.

When We Are Closed

When our practice is closed you can still get support. You can get expert medical advice and useful information by calling NHS 111 or through 111 online https://111.nhs.uk/  

The NHS 111 service is available 24 hours a day and can provide patient information, issue prescriptions to a pharmacy of your choice, book a GP appointment, and, if necessary, refer people to emergency services.

Please only use the out-of-hours service if your medical condition is such that you cannot possibly wait until the surgery opens again.

If you have a problem which can wait until normal surgery hours, please use the following numbers:

If you phone the Surgery on 0116 2955000, a recorded message will give you the number to ring.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
